A friend emailed this to me, and I just thought it was kinda funny. They are obviously planning ahead, but they better hope they get past Tulane without getting burned first.

(Sorry if the pic is huge, it wouldn't resize for me for whatever reason...)

Yeah, they aren't still obsessed with Coach Saban....
Ok, I don't think they are obsessed with Coach Saban. It is a condo complex sponsoring it, not the student body. Sure there may be some ill will but I can guarantee that the majority of LSU fans are over Coach Saban. To most of them, Saban is just another SEC coach that they want to win against and a road block they have to get over to get to the National Championship. Sure if LSU wins there will be some sweet justice but I think the obsession is over. Just like everything else it will be the media that creates the story not the fans.

Disclaimer: I said MAJORITY of LSU fans. I did not indicate that ALL fans were over it.

MNC hopes are long gone fort his year - and with their defense, likely for the next several years. And yes, some of the obsession has worn off, but if Bama goes in there and beats them likea red-headed step child, a LOT of animosity will come bubbling back to the surface.

I agree. My hubby and I may have tickets to that game, and I'm not sure I want to be in BR that night. He says he "ain't skeered", but we know alot of LSU fans, and I know how they are when they are PO'd, not to mention PO'd and drunk.

I just fould this on today's top stories at footballrumormill.com

The statistics show LSU has slid in defense this season, and Coach Les Miles does not want his coordinators talking about it. Miles would not allow co-defensive coordinators Doug Mallory and Bradley Dale Peveto to speak with reporters this week about the team’s defense, which is no longer the toughest in the state, according to NCAA statistics that put the Tigers behind Tulane in total defense. Mallory and Peveto have become flash points for criticism this season as No. 15 LSU (5-2, 3-2 Southeastern Conference) has slipped to ninth in the league in total defense and allowed more than 50 points twice in a season for the first time in school history.

Now LSU with a pic of a burning Nick.

When will SEC teams learn that off-the-field theatrics are not going to bother Alabama? I guess in two weeks Alabama will have to dominate LSU at this place. You would think of all teams not to bother with this junk it would be LSU, but now Les Miles just can't stop with the jabs.
