LSU's camp starts this weekend. I think that it is over on Sunday. Bama's camp starts Sunday, right? Do you guys know of any players that are going to both camps, or is it mutually exclusive? I saw this list of players that will be attending LSU's camp and was wondering if ya'll know for a fact any of them that will be at Bama. I heard that Sentimore was camping at Bama this weekend, so I don't see how he could be at both places. This list has Dre Kirkpatrick camping with LSU. Is he not going to Bama's camp? I also heard that Davenport might attend Bama's camp. Anyway, I trust you guys for my Bama news, so I thought you might help out. Where are the known inaccuracies on this list?

I heard LSU's camp was cancelled this weekend on account of Miles going shopping looking for a hat that fits.
:eek2:
Sorry, I was bored and didn't have a good response for you. Please accept my kindest apology.

Well, if LSU's camp ends Sunday and Bama's camp starts on Sunday and doesn't end until Wednesday, I don't think it'd be too hard for any of them that wanted to make it to both camps to do so. For example, I know Kirkpatrick and Kelly will both be at Bama's camp.

Well McFarland is out and I could find no list like that not even on an lswho site so take it for what it's worth...... BOL has an article naming who will be there (BAMA camp) it just seems odd if all of those big timers were coming they would not post it on THEIR web-site?????????

I saw a lot of those names on that list also on the list for UF's "Friday Night Lights" camp. Maybe the UF camp is only a 1 day camp :conf2:

The UF camp was just a 1 night thing. hence the name Friday Night lights. There are several names on that list that will be at the Bama camp as well. Tidesports.com has a list of the top recruits that are expected to be at the capstone this weekend.

Man, busy weekend for Dre is this LSU list is true- Friday Night at UF's camp, Saturday at LSU's, and Sunday at ours...

Unless any of them are there to sign a LOI then I don't care. Saban has proven that his "committed" players still go to other camps yet keep a strong commitment to the Tide. I don't expect much to change. What's for lunch?

Crawfish and Tiger.

The latest info is that three Bama commits, Trent Richardson, D.J. Fluker, and Quinton Dial will be attending the Nick Saban Football Camp II. Two of Bama's top prospects Dre Kirkpatrick and Kendall Kelly have said they will also be attending. Darrington Sentimore has said he will attend the camp. I don't know if any of them will be at the LSU camp or not.

Some of the of Bama's top in-state prospects Nico Johnson, Tana Patrick, Anthony Orr, and Tim Simon have said they will not be attending. It is uncertain as to whether or not Orwin Smith will attend. I doubt he will be at the camp.

Top Louisiana prospects Rueben Randle, Kenny Bell, DeQuinta Jones and Eddie Lacy have said they will not be attending Bama's camp. I have read conflicting reports on whether or not Rueben Randle, DeQuinta Jones, and Eddie Lacy will attend the Bama camp. I do not expect them to be at the Bama camp but some say they will be there.

Some other top prospects that have said they will not be attending are DeAntwan Williams, Chris Bonds, Branden Smith, and Chad Bumphis. Damario Jeffrey, Darren Myles, and Montrell Conner are still undecided. I would be surprised if any of the undecided attend the camp.

At this point I am just going to wait on the reports and articles about the Bama camp to come out to see exactly who attended due to all the conflicting info being reported.

According to the latest by Andrew Bone, the following will attend the Alabama camp:

  • Dre Kirkpatrick

  • Kendall Kelly

  • Reuben Randle

  • Jamaal Berry (five star RB from Miami)

  • Terrance Coleman (AU commit)

  • Sam Simpson (nation's top center prospect)

  • Stephen Hill

  • Charles Siddoway (four-star OT from Oregon)

  • DeQuinta Jones

  • Darrington Sentimore

  • Eddie Lacy (four-star RB from the greater Baton Rouge area)

  • Montrell Connor (four-star RB / LB from Monroe, LA)

  • Johnathon Atchison

  • Terry Shankle

  • Ronnie Wingo

  • Fletcher Cox (MSU commit)

The camp will also feature a visit from several prospects currently committed to the Tide. That group includes, among others, D.J. Fluker, Trent Richardson, and Quinton Dial.

We'll have to see how many of these guys show up, but we should know soon. In fact, many of them should have arrived in Tuscaloosa already, or should be arrived ASAP.

Damario Jeffery went to South Carolina this weekend for their camp, instead of going to Alabama. He didn't commit, but the South Carolina people seem to think that he is going to be a Gamecock in the very near future, and that sounds right to me.

I don't think I would take Jeffery off of our board just yet, but it certainly does seem like you can pretty much forget our chances of legitimately getting him.

With him spurning our camp to stay at home in Columbia, I think we're going to move on ASAP. It's possible that we could have done so already... that might explain Kent's sudden presser.
