I checked out his Facebook page this morning -- figured he'd be ballistic! "We need to fire Les Miles. We need to fire him this morning ... we need to fire him before the bacon finishes frying in the skillet". :)

He said this might be the worse lost in LSU football history. I would have thought getting shut out in your back yard for the national championship would qualify for the worse loss ever.

The guy is right on all his major points. He is pretty rational to be as mad as he clearly is. It reminds me of coach Mile Shula. He was a nice guy, but wasn't getting the job done. I felt bad when he was fired, but it was the right thing to do. It may be even worse for LSU because Les has been successful before, and their expectations are to be on Bama's level. The fact that they have to watch their former coach become the GOAT while coaching their hated rival makes it the worst. Think about how you would feel if Auburn hired Saban and he rolled off this kind of success while we sank into mediocrity. I feel his pain.

This Wisconsin loss is probably worse. LSU been hyped up by the media for a while now, and was expected to win this one by a couple of TD's. All of the LSU fans expected LSU to win the Wisconsin game. Regarding the national championship game, I think all of the LSU fans, at least somewhere in their minds, expected to lose to BAMA, so yes, that was a beat down but we pretty much knew that was coming. First, as I've said before, I give a lot of respect for LSUdad, because as angry as he gets, his language is always respectful and his videos are ok by Tidefans standards. Too many other fans post videos with too much cussing.

My question for LSU people is: who do you hire if you do fire CLM? It's easy to say "fire him", but you ought to have a plan for who you aim to get.

Cough cough coach lane Kiffin, cough.

I told a friend 2 weeks ago when Hawaii was playing ucla in Australia that at the end of this season if either

1) Texas had a bad season or
2) LSU had a bad season

That one of those 2 schools would offer Kiffin after the season was over.

If I were LSU I'd call Tom Herman & tell to name his price so they can put the check in the mail for him to become The Swamp Kittens HC..

Wellllll..I would think losing to freaking UAB would be the worst loss in school history..

They'll pull the money truck up to one of three coaches' door. Jumbo Fisher, Tom Herman and/or Petrino. The LSU fanbase will won't a PROVEN head coach. Kiffin will get his fair share of calls but in LSU's case, not thinking he's the hire that the fanbase will want to see.

This is just me talking but it seems like the longer Kiffin hangs around, the more it seems like he could be the person to take over after Saban retires. I'm just looking at the moves with coaches on the O side. Seems like they are 1) preparing for if Kiffin does leave OR 2) preparing when Kiffin takes over.

Back on topic, its too early to write off Miles just yet. After the next three games, they could very well be 3-1 or at the very worst 2-2 with a loss to the Barn.

Kiffin?! No thanks. He is only as good as Saban allows him to be. I don't want him around after that leash is gone.

Also. Saban assistants need to start heading out of conference for a HC job. It is getting a little too crowded for comfort in here.

I like Kiffin as Saban's assistant. Kiffin is great in that role. I think he is a brilliant OC, but head coaching, especially at Alabama, is not for everyone. Besides, is Kiffin really ready to wait the 10-15 years until Saban retires.
