He said he left when he did was due to issues with NIL at that time, and realizing his method wasn't as effective anymore. It wouldn't shock me to see him adjust his ways, like he did with the offense when he hired CLK, but he's been abundantly clear how happy he is right now, and how happy Miss Terry is as well. So I'd guess his chances of taking a HC job (college or NFL) are less than 2% but not zero...

I would assume they had a list of solid 'for cause' reasons and said take 50% or you get nothing and our lawyers will burn you so badly in court that nobody will ever touch you again. He's very narcissistic and probably couldn't handle that thought.

Not enough good coaches to go around. Schools need to be very careful about unloading the bird in hand. For every upgrade there are 10 Bill Belecheks (sp?). I think LSU is destined to wander for years in the wilderness.
