BREAKING LSU Firing Brian Kelly

LSU has a ton of “for cause” on him. Kelly is such a narcissist he thought he was untouchable. I believe the only reason they chose to give him half was some of this “stuff” LSU was aware of when they hired him four years ago.
Truthfully, neither LSU or Kelly want it out for public consumption.

Let's assume that's true. LSU is required by NCAA to report these things. Not doing so (at least in past) gets them LOIC. Of course, the NCAA is as strong as a wet noodle these days, so who knows. No longer are teams "staring down the barrel of a shotgun" like we were told 30 years ago. More like a water pistol that doesn't work and the NCAA enforcement cmte member saying "Pew...Pew...Pew"

I was told last night immediately after word he was being fired began to leak “he is not getting the full buyout. It will be negotiated down. He has baggage going back years he doesn’t want out (mostly of a personal nature) and the university was aware of it when they hired him. Neither has clean hands”.

The real irony in this and so many other cases is that it's mind boggling the amount of cash paid out to former head coaches and their staffs over the last say ten years. How many millions of $ could have been channeled to fund critical medical research and other important areas at our universities?

Yeah, the buyout these days are getting ridiculous and I could almost guarantee you that the schools immediately start gathering evidence for "just cause" as their new coach moves into his office...😎

Curious, what if Kelly refuses to negotiate?

LSU putting that info out there makes them look really bad and opens the door for a lawsuit by BK's lawyers...😎
 
I don't follow LSU enough to know the things Pate was talking about.

Kelly was on the beach during critical recruiting periods.

Staff was getting hired that he had no clue about.

Recruits were coming in that he had no clue about.

Said he had checked out a while ago.
