LSU Predictions.........

I'll say this...

If it goes to OT, then Bama gets the nod for the win. Brodie will be close enough to thread it into the endzone.

I don't see LSU scoring a TD on the Bama D in OT.

Where are y'all getting all these points the Tide will be scoring? I don't see it. I think we can win but 30 points? Our offense scored three points against one of the sorriest teams of all time last week.

I pray that it is 2-0
Just to stir up the media some more, they can't bash us b/c we won, and they don't want to admit they are wrong b/c our defence can win games.

The Tide wins 17- 14.

LSU is driving as time is running out and Bama D makes the pick to close out the game!!

I am a little reluctant..

to predict this score, but if you are looking for honesty then here's my prediction--- first of all, i want to let everyone know that I "Bleed Crimson", but still I have to go with my gut (and believe me there's plenty of gut to go with). But never the less: LSWHO-17----BAMA-10.

A 9-0 Alabama team will not lose to LSU at home, in Tuscaloosa.

I know LSU has had great success in T-Town before, but this year is very, very different.

LSU's last three wins in T-Town came vs. 4-7, 7-5, and 4-9 Bama teams. Simply put, those teams are NOT THIS Bama team.

Everyone seems to believe LSU is a great team...incorrect.

Appalachian State ran for 200+ against them and were only down 14-0 in the 4th qtr, and Auburn missed 5 FGs and LSU still only won by 3 in overtime. Not to mention Kenny Irons ran for 200+ yards against them...

This may be a talented team we're playing, but their talent has not been properly utilized.

Alabama will win this game, and it will be an emphatic, impressive victory.

Alabama 27 LSU 3

Bama 21-10

I think we play inspired ball. We have a lot of Seniors playing their farewell at BDS. The crowd will be pumped. We make the plays that have been near misses. Defense has to rattle Russell early...Anderson and Gilberry will do that. I think Brodie will have a big day and Darby will too...after setting up the pass. Have faith.

If LSU can score more than 10 points they will win the game. Why? Because I predict that we will win 9-0, the touchdown drought continues as we head into iron bowl week...... :frown:

It's gonna be one of those "Sphincter Sqeezers", the kind that leaves a permanent crease in your couch cushion!

BAMA 15
LSU 13

If you sitting and ain't standing up and yelling like hell in your living room, it's not a close enough game.

Question: What has impressed everybody about this LSU team this year?

I do not understand all of this respect they are garnering from everyone...

What have they done? What have they proven?

They are mistake prone and have done a poor job of stopping the run, and at times have been inept in the secondary as well (vs. UT and Arizona State).

How does anyone expect this team to come into Tuscaloosa and win vs. Alabama???

Bama 17, LSU 14

Average Points Scored Per Game (PF):
SEC: 25.12
Alabama: 24.33 (97% of SEC average)
LSU: 36.29 (144% of SEC average)

Average Points Allowed Per Game (PA):
SEC: 20.8
Alabama: 8.22 (40% of SEC average)
LSU: 15.86 (76% of SEC average)

PF/PA:
SEC: 1.209
Alabama: 2.959
LSU: 2.288

Alabama PF% * LSU PA%: 97% * 76% = 74%
LSU PF% * Alabama PA%: 144% * 40% = 57%

My estimate for Alabama scoring on LSU:
average of SEC average PA and PF * Alabama PF% * LSU PA%
23 * 74% = 17

My estimate for LSU scoring on Alabama:
average of SEC average PA and PF * LSU PF% * Alabama PA%
23 * 57% = 13

Final Score: Alabama 17, LSU 13

Give a few for home field, take a few for injuries.

CBI, I will take your word for the stat's.

Bama 24
LSU 7

I think the offense has a mission this week and with BC subpar performance last week. We will find the endzone more than once.

Bama's "D" has given up only one TD in the last, what "Month", I'll spot LSU 1 but that's it.

I need to save some voice for the RJYH this week, it'll be sweet.
