LSU v UGA thread.

In '01, Davey went down and Matt Mauk came off the bench and led LSU to a victory over Tenn. However, I dont see that happening tonight.

I remember that well. UT cheap shots took Davey out. There were at least three of them. Refs swallowed their whistles.
 
I think this is a sign of things to come at LSU.

They are stacked. They have as much talent as anyone in the country, and they will be 9-2.

If can't win with that team, who can you win with?

I think I would take my bet on USC v Tex back right now. You icked UGA by 10, I had LSU by 3.

LOL I just hope i'm right believing tex can beat usc. I do not want usc to win 3 in a row. usc barely beat fresno st. and fresno st loses to nevada and loses bad to la tech. I think tex can score w/ them, and they have a better defense than usc.
 
My son told me today that LSU had the better team. I didn't make an out an out prediction, but I told him LSU might have better talent, but I didn't necessarily think they were the better team.
 
I wonder if V Tech loses what will happen to the bowl picks? Tied at 1/2. I know OSU and ND will have automatics but I wonder how that will shake up the rest of the teams. GA will have to be above LSU and Aub. will cry foul if LSU is above them as well. FSU just scored!!GOD I love football.

As a side note. The coaches will be raising hell Monday about the championship games again.

I'd much rather have him in the SECW, than his predecessor. He spends most of his time posturing on the sidelines, and more time watching himself on the jumbotron, than watching his team on the field. What a dweeb! Class move going to Dallas to try & get a pre-game commitment from the Cotton Bowl Committee. Sent a very positive message to his team.....you're gonna lose!
 
Congrats to UGA for putting a good old fashion "butt whipping" on the Tigers. It's good to have a team AND a Coach with class representing the SEC for a change, after 2 years of obnoxious Tigers ruling; LSU and Barners.
