I suspect he is getting conflicting information about his draft grade. Kid would not be wise to turn down first round cash.

Not sure about a grade, but some draft projections have him going in the first, others in the second. I have not seen one with him going later than second round

I would not be surprised if mack were to return. Somehow, Saban gets that to happen and the player rarely, if ever, regrets it. I would be absolutely shocked for QW to return. He is a top 3 pick.

P.s. good to see Mack congratulate Devin. Mutual respect amongst many that play the game. I’m proud of Devin White too. He is 100% class. He had nothing to do with the fans frenzy over his targeting call, outside of the actual hit. One of my favorite all time tigers.

Mack struggled early this year. Definitely improved as the season went along.

But I'm guessing he needs a year to prove that his grasp on all aspects of the position is firm enough for a struggling NFL team's GM to bet a first round pick, and early first round money, and maybe his own job, on him.

Q? He has to leave. I'll miss him. I'll wish I were his friend. But in the best way possible, he has no choice.
