Mal Moore, long-time University of Alabama athletics director, died this morning in Durham, N.C., at the age of 73.

He will be sorely missed.

Truly saddened by the news...sincere condolences to coach Moore's loved ones..
At least he was able to enjoy the fruits of his labor by seeing his beloved university embark on a dynasty and know he put the University of Alabama back where they belong at the top of college football. Truly an accomplished, devoted, and great man....RIP
