I would not want that guy on my team. Nothing but a pure thug all year!
As someone who’s been around mental disorders, I’m absolutely serious that Mazarra may have undiagnosed bipolar or borderline disorder. He’s all over the place from jittery crazed glares on the court to a spaced 1,000 mile stare from the bench. You truly don’t know what he’s going to do. When it gets to the point of being held back to keep from going in the stands, something’s wrong. Hopefully, if he’s not already, he can get some help because that stuff can ruin a life in short order.

On the lighter side, sending Big Mouth Broome a loser the last time stepped foot on his home court is almost as big a treat as the win itself.

When I see our fans complain about Nate that he might not be the right coach, etc. And then I turned to CBS and see Indiana and Ohio State with a 49 to 45 game with seven minutes to go. Shades of Anthony Grant, basketball. I just don’t understand anyone that complains about Nate.
The funny thing is pretty much almost every D1 program would take him as a HC right now lol

Auburn went with the same strategy as the Tuscaloosa game in guarding against the three-point shot. I'm wondering if Oats had the team prepared for the bigs to get more of the work done in the paint with less focus on the three and guards driving the lane. Several baskets from the bigs came from offensive put-backs. One other "big" stat was Nelson being 3-6 on 3-point shots.

Nelson was 5-9 on two's with a missed dunk and at least one missed layup. (Where is the complaint thread?)

Our defensive rating on Kenpom jumped to 31. I think they said something like the last 18 national chsmpions have all finished in the top 35 in both offense and defensive efficiency. We were just at 38 before the game today.
