Man, that as one ugly last five minutes of the first half. We kept throwing up quick threes - and missing. Meanwhile, Creighton has cut in to a six point game. Why do we always seem have these cold spells when everything is going great?

IDK, but it worries me about this team. It's almost as if, with a quick start, they've proved what they can do and relax. They need to plant a foot on the neck after these starts, instead of letting the other team back in...

Seems like the last 3rd of the last season, Grant quit fading away on his shots near the rim and began going into the defender and playing through the contact. He appears a little stronger too; maybe did better strength and conditioning work. I think he is just naturally thin and still gets pushed around a little by some players.

I know it's against Oats' philosophy, but I think, when the 3s just won't fall, we need to work more on the paint, where we were having so much luck...

Creighton coach didn't complain when the player tackled Nelson causing him to lose the ball after that defensive rebound earlier.

Nelson is incredibly frustrating to watch at times. He’ll make an absolute wow play and follow it up with a 5th grade rec league bonehead move.

Pretty fair assessment. I call it cold spells, but it could be from letting up after you get a good lead.
