Michael Moore Contributed $20K Toward Julian Assange's Bail - FoxNews.com

Yesterday, in the Westminster Magistrates Court in London, the lawyers for WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange presented to the judge a document from me stating that I have put up $20,000 of my own money to help bail Mr. Assange out of jail," Moore said in a statement posted online.
Moore also offered "the assistance of my website, my servers, my domain names and anything else I can do to keep WikiLeaks alive and thriving."

If Michael Moore goes through with this, he should be tried for treason..IMO.

I'm not sure this is a very wise investment on the part of Mr. Moore. From what I understand some of these documents include names and addresses of U.S. servicemen. Addresses where there may only be a spouse and children at home while the serviceman is deployed. Draw your own conclusions.

It is no surprise that m moore is doing this. I agree with what Relayer said ,"from one American hater to another". I also agree with the treason charge.

Same. I say we get the personal info of Moore and Assange and have people pester them every hour of the day and see how they appreciate it when the shoe is on the other foot.

At least he didn't out a CIA operative for misguided political revenge.
yeah, all he did was out 1000's of informants and exposed them to probable death, but thank god he didnt out one borderline undercover cia agent. seriously bamaro let's start trickling back to reality here.

i have mixed emotions over the leaks. on one hand it is exposing many allies to significant harm. on the other, it is interesting to see exactly how our gov works and ask if that is how we want to be represented. either way i think there could be a better way than just releasing the documents.

These leaks pose a significant threat to our country, YOU and MY FAMILY. To anyone who would ever condone this as does the fat, communist Jabba-the-Hut; please kill yourself. Honestly... kill yourself now without hesitation. My family and I would very much appreciate it!!

The only thing I don't understand is that no one seems concerned about where the leaks came from. Assange, as I understand it, is only the messenger. Someone is giving him the messages, and I virtually never see any concern about those individuals. If Assange died today, those messengers would still be out there.

MM needs to move out of the USA... he is nothing more than a sleeze bag who has a strong dis-like for the US. So, put his fat butt in the middle of Afghanistan!

OK, getting back to reality, she wasn't "one borderline undercover cia agent". She was real undercover agent that was outed simply to get back at her husband who offended the administration by performing the task given to him and telling the truth.
I'm not condoning what Assange did although I really haven't yet heard anything of substance, just embarrassing comments, and all he did was publish them. The real outrage should be aimed at Manning.
