Link: Michigan’s HC could face potential show cause after deleting text messages

The NCAA is a farce, as is the B1G conference leadership, for allowing UM to participate in the post season last year. Some of the worst on field cheating in the history of the game, and UM is laughing at the rest of the college football world.

Say it ain’t so

Maybe the NCAA will simply not recognize the title.
Is there really any rule or regulation in college sports today unless the schools have some? If the NCAA shows up at your doorstep now, the university should just go ahead and kick them in the gonads and tell them to get off my property and never come back while laughing at them. It's win by any means necessary now. It just depends on which coach has the most integrity and how much cheating they want to do.

I don’t see anything in the timeline that we didn’t know in November. But with not a smidgen of new information since then:

Michigan’s Big 10 ( or 12 or 16 or whatever that number is) Championship is intact. As is their CFP appearance. As is their CFP championship.

But several coaches who are no longer there, plus Stallions, are in danger of a stern finger-wagging.

Anybody who thinks Moore, as a sitting HC facing a L2 violation, is going to get a retro-active show cause, please contact me. I have a slightly used bridge in Brooklyn that I need to unload cheap — you know….for tax purposes.

Plus, if the NCAA did slap Moore with a show cause (which they wouldn’t in 100 million years), his opportunities for all sorts of lawsuits with all sorts of bases are virtually endless.

As BearFoot says: Hey, NCAA! What you do is so loud I can’t hear what you say.

Worked for Auburn.

I find it hard to believe they just stopped this whole thing the second stallions left. We still should have won and it wasn’t as in your face bad as the year Clemson clearly had our signals but I just can’t see a team of 3 stars suddenly just being great. The whole thing stinks and their fans are the worst

lol….😂

NCAA issues a four year show cause for Harbaugh. Not like he is ever coming back…

And this is outside of the Connor Stalions sign stealing. This goes back to Covid recruiting violations.

Gees…it only took you 4 years

What an utter joke. I'd be embarrassed to tell anyone I worked for the NCAA.

"Where do you work?"

"I work for the NCAA"

Yeah the NCAA is like the husband that doesn’t want children that announces to his wife “I’ve solved the problem. I had a vasectomy” after they have five kids and two of them are in college.

Any school that gets any type of inquiry from the NCAA should just tell them to bugger off.

Like my criminal clients who asked the judge for leniency in sentencing because they "fully cooperated" with the police and the courts after pleading guilty...despite the fact that they were under fugitive status for jumping bail and after having me file half a dozen different motions to exclude evidence, reconsideration of bond, and so on.
