Good news: Phillies eliminated. Bad news: The Mets advance to the NLCS. I guess I want to see the Padres take out the Dodgers and then advance to the WS.

And anyone but the Yankees from the American League.

Phillies fans are the worst, followed by the Yankees. Mets fans were horrible for a long time, but they are pretty meek right now. If they make it to the WS that will change.

I hate the Dodgers, but the people who show up for their games are not fans as we understand the term. Very different.
 
Mets vs. Dodgers. One of them has to go to the WS. Mets fans here for this series.

I’m truly torn because I hate both of them.

Honestly my disdain for the Mets, Phillies, and Dodgers is pretty close.

I really do not want the Dodgers to advance though specifically because they try to over spend and buy Championships like the Yankees.

Plus they have Freeman and Ohtani which are 2 of my most disliked players.

I also do not want the Mets to advance.

Why do you hate Ohtani? The money scandal? I got nothing against him and he is a fascinating ballplayer to watch.


I know as a Braves fan I am supposed to hate NY teams and the Dodgers but, from an entertainment standpoint a subway series or Dodgers/Yankees series is what I'd like to watch on TV.

Subway series would be epic. Won't watch if it is the yanks vs dodgers

Because common sense says he was involved to some degree.

I don't like how hypocritical MLB is by giving a lifetime ban to Pete Rose but won't dish out any kind of punishment to their Japanese Market Golden Goose cash cow.

True.

I mean honestly I know I’m just being an irrational fan and looking for a reason to not like him.

I really just hate the Dodgers and he’s their best player and he gets obnoxious amounts of coverage for everything he does.

I’m just a jealous fan who likes not liking him.

Sadly, he will never get in.

Shoeless Joe Jackson still isn't. Despite no real proof he took any money and no proof he threw the games.

It should be noted that in 2020, the MLB changed its policy of banning deceased players. The thought process is how can you ban a dead guy from attending anything baseball related?
