More barn news - NCAA investigating recruitment of Reuben Foster

This just got good. Why is she now not allowed to comment? Stay tuned. I like how there is no mention that the "short statement" Foster read at his press conference was TJY's word for word, with the schools reversed.

at this point I trust no one involved in this story. The AJC not above exaggerating or outright making things up to hurt UGA rivals. Au and its business affiliates recruits included arent above cheating and lying about it. Foster and his family are as dirty as we all thought. So I'm not holding my breath on this one too much.

Yes, it absolutely amazes me that so many adults (They are adults only by age but not by actions.) get so caught up in this crap that they threaten kids and/or say these types of things. These kids should go where they want to go, and all the idiots of the world should get a life. I don't understand why they all don't want to go to Alabama because I love my university, but each of these kids should be allowed to make his own choice about which school to attend without the morons of the world coming out of the woodwork.

Edit- Sorry about the rant, but it does just blow my mind when those types of things happen.
Anyway, back on topic, if they are cheating, I hope they get popped. Honestly, though, I wish I could trust that all of the teams in the SEC, and all of the NCAA for that matter, were on the level and not cheating. It would be nice if all of the SEC teams could get off of probation while several of the Big 10-11-12 schools are on probation. It would be nice if we had great football, passionate fans, great examples of student-athletes, and the reputation for doing things the right way. Of course, many would say that I am being naive.

Didn't know ALL the SEC teams were on probation.
 
WSFA is also reporting that Foster's mom misstated that they were talking to the NCAA. The news report said they spoke to the AHSAA about whether or not they made a BONA FIDE MOVE. ;)

ETA: I think it was a "cya" move on Foster's part (the Barn brethren told her to SHUT IT) and I believe the NCAA may be snooping, too.

That' not the way I read his quote sorry, I think I know what he means. IF all schools were not meaning nobody is.

This stuff is what destroyed the SWC, so we should all want the SEC clean. However, that is NEVER going to happen as long as API is in the conference. We have put up with this for eons but it is starting to bleed into other schools. Remember it was MSU not Bama that brought the $cam stuff to light. Now you have UT & UGA getting a taste of the boogs. Wait till they go into South Carolina & buy one from the old ball coach then you will get an ear full.

The Best thing for API & the Conference is for them to move to the ACC or Big East. The mountainous egos in that valley won't allow it.

What other school has to deal with this stuff every year with NO action by the NCAA.

Normally the NCAA doesn't conduct such an interview until AFTER the kid signs with the school..........

This one is over for now... Just because the NCAA did not meet yesterday, does not mean they will not.... Let's move back to Memphis. Memphis is as corrupt as any city in America and Auburn will soon learn that..
