On the local news last night Jim Dunaway reported that April 9 mississippi st. spring game was gonna be televised on espn 2. Has anyone else seen that reported? And does anyone know if this is a first?

(I edited the title....watch the teasers!)

UGA and LSU both had televised practices on ESPN2 last year.

Hmmm... LSU and UGA. Both programs have won SEC or Nat'l titles recently. MSU, not so much. Wonder why they're on tv for a spring scrimmage? :conf3:

Here we are...

on the beautiful MSU campus in Starkville, MS, interviewing Coach Sylvester Croom, who is the first **************.

In all fairness guys, we've had ESPN on campus a few years ago covering our prep for a ball game. They've done this with a good number of football programs. Now, we are talking a spring football game.

Consider this. What are the chances they'll have GameDay on campus? What are the chances they'll have a nationally broadcast game this upcoming season? Let them have their time in the lime light.

It's true South Carolina is going to be broadcast also. Hey, good for them.

Both teams will ended up getting paid something, I'm sure. We could use the money.

you can't figure it out, I'm not going to tell you... :D

Ditto to that. I guess we will have to put up with another year of the same from ESPN like we did the past year. When will it end? :conf2:

Dem' Millions dos guys be holdin'- Don't think for a moment they won't give Croom the axe if it comes to a few back to back losing seasons.

I agree. You guys don't know how much a pinch he was in after losing to Maine last season.
