Gus Malzahn to Florida/ Newton to transfer back to UF
Jon Gruden to Florida
Jimmy Johnson to Florida his wife was seen with a realtor in Gainesville
Lane Kiffin to Florida will bring his father to put in the vaunted Tampa 2 defense, Ed Orgeron to be named USCw HC
Dennis Franchione to Florida, Kim always loved the beauty of Florida's weather
Butch Davis to Florida too much heat in Chapel Hill
Tommy Tuberville to Florida great golfing venues and with the stock pile of talent he could spend more time hunting
Houston Nutt to Florida per Jimmy Sexton
Jim Harbaugh to Florida to install the power I offense
Nick Saban to Florida has all the recruiting pasture in one state and he will make more than Alabama pays him.
Last but certainly not least, Jack Del Rio has no interest in the Florida or Alabama HC vacancy
Hilarious!!! Well except the one I highlighted.

Re: Multiple sources: Urban Meyer will step down again

I wonder how many players will transfer (if any)?

If Mullen comes in they will probably do a good job retaining most of the players since he will be familiar with them already.

Sicne I haven't chimed in yet I will say that I would give even money that Mullen is who they are already or have already contacted about the job

Mullen to UF makes perfect sense... it's almost too simple of a move to be realistic.

Re: Urban Meyer to Step Down - AGAIN?

This is getting crazier by the second! Unlike last year, Urban will NOT be taking back his resignation, and even if he does, they probably will say "nope, too late". Some of the names I'm hearing. Jim McElwain, Gus Malzahn, Jeff Fisher, Mike Shanahan, Steve Spurrier, I've even heard Skip Holtz! really now? Skip Holtz? Why? I could believe Spurrier coming back before I could believe Skip Holtz!

I don't think ANY of those names are realistic candidates...

Re: Multiple sources: Urban Meyer will step down again

I saw this on Twitter about Urban & Joe Pa..Things that make you go hmmmmmm..

"If Joe Paterno had coached his last game at Urban Meyer's age, he would have retired in 1972"..

Does anyone think Mullen can win a NC at State? If not, then where would he need to go to get a NC? ;)

Re: Multiple sources: Urban Meyer will step down again

If Chris Petersen ever took another job, this would be the time and the place. But, he won't.
Offer #1 goes to Bob Stoops. Offer #2 goes to Mullen. I don't think they will need to go beyond that.
Regardless of what happens, Florida will be in good hands.

It's got to be Dan Mullen. They would be nuts not to offer it to him, and he'd be nuts not to take it.

Agree...I think they get Mullen...and for those who think they call Malzahn (he wishes)...no way UF turns their program over to an assistant noob and they'd be nuts if they did. Why would you when you can get a proven HC?

And who's on a coaching staff that is under FBI & NCAA investigation..Don't think so..
