Game Thread: Music City Bowl: North Carolina vs Tennessee

I wasn't cheering for Tennessee, but the last play of that game is exactly why the NFL has a ten second run-off for offensive penalties in the last two minutes of each half.

Also, the ball was incorrectly spotted on the NFL hash mark for the winning field goal instead of the college hash mark which makes that short field goal considerably less difficult because of the angle.
 
Bottom line, I don't think either team really deserved to win this game. Sloppy, and often badly coached on both sides.

In any case, though, ut played worse, and lost, which sets well with me. UNC wins by default.
 
Geez, watching that game I felt as though the old UT is back....the one I really despise. Couldn't be happier about the way the game ended. Thanks NC.

I agree. I haven't watched much of North Carolina or Tennessee this year so I now know why each team lost so many games.

Is Phil still there??? I pull for all the sec teams, do you guys hear the sec chants after bowl games?Im not the only one that feels this way.Get over your hate,its now us against them.IM guessing from what Im hearing that everyone wishes the sec would go 1-5 in the bowl games? Part of the sec rep is how it does in the bowl games, we start losing them and there goes our rep as the best conference in the nation.
 
UT will always have a special place in the very bottom of a septic tank with me. The glee they took as their fatass coach and admin. tried to destroy Alabama should make every Bama fan despise that univ. as much as any. If it doesn't you need to do a little research.

Don't think I'll ever pull for Ucheat. I can't think of a single team I'd pull for them against. If they played AU I'd hope for a small meteor to hit at midfield.
 
I was pulling for TN until late in the game. The undisciplined play really turned me off and then the throat slash sealed it. I laughed when he threw the pick. SO they got what they deserved, a loss. I normally pull for SEC teams with a few exceptions.

Who cares if the conference is 'respected'?

Seriously?

It's not like it will become the WAC where it counts against us if all the teams lose their bowl games.

Think rationally - outside of ultra-rare situation where we rely on 'strength of conference schedule' in order to earn a shot at playing in the BCSCG, what does it matter?

Screw the rest of the SEC - they rode our backs to prominence then tried to kill us...
