1st cent...Lay off of Tiffen. He can kick a football a hell of a lot better than me and anyone else on this board.

2nd cent...Come on coach! PLAY FOR THE WIN! The offense was managing the clock extremely well in the 4th quarter, moving the ball downfield, and picking up the first downs. Please keep it going. GO FOR THE TOUCHDOWN! I hate to say this but I was reminded of the Jim Mora New Orleans Saints. Playing not to lose and then losing.

BEAT FLORIDA!

great post!

OUCH. You finally helped me realize what I was looking at today. A COACH trying so hard not to lose that he forgot to win and that was what I remember watching from the New Orleans Saints.

I told my uncle how easy they could have scored if they would have just tried for the end zone towards the end of regulation.

CRAP.... I don't know what to feel right now. Execution would have one. Coach's with a killer instinct would have won. Why can't I figure out how to feel about this loss.

DANG......DANG........DANG.........

hard to disagree...it's like we change our whole offensive mindset once we get in the redzone from aggressive to passive/protect the football. I don't understand it....

I didn't mean to imply that Alabama would have made a touchdown at the end, but I think they and us fans would have felt a little bit better if they would have thrown the ball and at least made an attempt at the endzone.

Shula really left this one on the shoulders and head of Tiffin today.
While he deserves criticism, Tiffin really should not have been put in the position to win or lose this game today in OT.
As sick as I was after the game, my heart broke for the kid. You could tell he was shredded.
