I voted yes...and while we're at it, let's put little gold stars or small elephants on the helmets when they make a good play.

only if we can have white helmets and a real live elephant for a mascot
Oh would the opposing team wouldnt even want to walk out of the tunnel then, especially if we have it right outside. The only problem would be our insane crowd noise of 100,000+ screaming might scare him. But otherwise you should send in a letter of recomendation to University.

I like the idea. But, not the type of stickers. When I was in school they used to hand out a skull and crossbones sticker for a big hit. That would be cool.

But, for anyone that voted no on the names on the jerseys, how about Army's jerseys today. Instead of names on the back, it said West Point.

I don't understand the argument for not having them, frankly.

They serve a purpose (helping announcers/family members track who is in the game) and the common argument against them -- that not having them somehow promotes team unity, since everyone is "equal" because they're just a number -- is both antiquated and not rooted in the real world. You don't have to have "JONES" on the back of #8's jersey for the rest of the Alabama team to recognize he's the best wide receiver. They know.

The teams that don't have them are the ones with the issues, IMO. And the "West Point" thing on the Army uniforms, to me, makes it look like a high school jersey where the school wants to have something there but can't afford personalization for each player.
