Pit, I got nothin'. I suspect the only thing we'll hear are Ole Miss writers who are being told to write exactly what the Ole Miss delegation wants them to spin for them. In other words, whatever we hear from that side will be the same lies they have told since the beginning.

Just as an aside, a couple of weeks ago one of the Rebel media knuckleheads made a flat statement that the COI would only go through the transgressions in the order which they were accused, leaving Lewis and the charges of Failure to Monitor and LOIC supported by Lewis's testimony to the very end of the hearing, possibly on day three----leaving him there all week. Family members who know Lewis's lawyer reporting this weekend that Lewis was to be there early today with the expectation of being at practice late today or in class tomorrow. Will be interesting to see who reports seeing him where, and when.

My good buddy Incarcerated Bob!!!!

This has been on the radar for three years or more------------

The meeting has concluded, the parties have left the premises.

Time soon for the leaks to begin trickling out - looking squarely at Forde, Wolkien, and OBMS

The entire hearing is done. Ross Bjork had no comment afterward.

5:07 PM - 12 Sep 2017

Morales is the Clarion Ledger reporter. You would think Bjork would at least acknowledge his trumpet section.

This was a really big case that will be utilized to set precedent for the new NCAA penalty structure and the COI set aside three days to hear everything Ole Miss had to say. At the end of two days they say "We've heard enough of your bs----we are going home" and then the Rebears leaving the meeting can't even muster up "we feel great about how it went"????? This can only be reasoned one way-----------

Now that all the talking is over...
It's time for the NCAA to put up or shut up.
I wonder whether they have the stones to do what is required.
We will see...

It's not a question of if OM gets hammered, it's more like how hard, and for how long.
(Sounds like ANIMAL HOUSE...) There are other similarities too.
If the punishment is only a symbolic tough penalty...
The NCAA will have lost this game and future ones also.

IMO: OM want get the DEATH PENALTY, but it will have to be something stiff enough to discourage further cheating.
(Make an example out of them...)

Starting to hear rumblings that the reason the meeting didn't last as long as they thought it might-----(remember, Ole Miss was really only arguing a few charges, one of which was the Rebel Rags charge)-----is because some recruits they spoke with filmed trips of their buddies getting loaded up with merchandise and had provided that to the NCAA. May just be an MSU lie and I got duped once before, but...tifwiw.

Can't read it because I don't have a WSJ account, but...

[h=1]‘Burner Phone’ Accusation Marks New Chapter in Ole Miss Scandal[/h][h=2]The school reported to the NCAA a lawyer’s allegation that its football coaches used prepaid phones to conceal contacts with recruits[/h]
In August, University of Mississippi athletic director Ross Bjork assembled the football team’s coaching staff in a meeting room. He handed out a form that asked the coaches to disclose whether they had used personal phones, including “prepaid phones, pay as you go, burner, etc.” for recruiting or any other work-related purpose.

...
Of the 29 people who filled it out, the school says, none reported using a burner, prepaid or pay-as-you-go phone during their time at Ole Miss.

They still can't quit lying --- even when they know the burner phones were not not destroyed.
But to be fair, only a handful of the people on the list who utilized the phones were still employed there in August.
