New Alabama Elephant Logo?

I always thought the old elephant in the A looked amaturish and at best cartoonish........ The script A and the new elephant suit me just fine.
Opinions are just that.

I agree - I like the New Elephant too - don't really care for the script A though

If you think the Zepher elephant head looks bad you should see their design for Auburn. It looks so ridiculous, you can't even tell what it is.

I really think that the University is slowly trying to filter out the Elephant and replace it with the more prestigious script A. I consider this a wonderful idea, and it establishes an aura of tradition for recruits simply to see a script A instead of corny mascot picture. Take for example the new floor in Coleman Coliseum. Well done Tide staff (Oh, and the Hat is childish).

that is alabama's tradition... an elephant is part of bama's tradition..

if they are in fact trying to erase a part of tradition that is horrible.. and i cant believe an alabama fan would be in favor of this..?

By the way, though I was looking for the hat for my FIVE YEAR OLD SON, whats wrong with a mascot logo being fun, or even as you so eloquently put it 'childish'?

This is football. Its a sport. Its not geopolitical sceince.

Football, especially college football, is supposed to be fun. If you want something that has has to always be "grown-up" go watch friggin' chess.
