In my first post i would like to say congratulations to the Crimson Tide players , coaches , and fans for a great win yesterday. I guess all victorys are great , but this one was special. Originally from North Alabama , my wife and i have been in the middle of Reb , Bulldog, and yep , Vile country for a long time , got the scars to prove it. Our family , 6 of us, are Tide fans all the way to the bone, got the memorabilia to prove it.
The Commercial Appeal is the local newspaper here, i am NOT a subscriber , however i do read the Sports pages on Sunday to see how bad the Tide beats their opponent and also to see if my name appears in the obits. It was indeed a pleasure to read Geoff Calkins and Ron Higgins columns, even though some of their remarks are a tad biased toward the Viles , it was good to see them vent their rath on Fulmer. I believe it may have brought them back to reality , a tad.
