New Year's Eve in Boise?

Today's Mobile Register predicted us to play Washington State in the MPC Computer's Bowl in Boise Idaho Dec. 31st. If we were to go to that bowl, would any one go?

Please not the "BLUE FIELD",
I wouldn't go to the blue field,
have never watched more than a few plays on TV in games played on the blue field,
don't know if I could even watch a whole Bama game on the blue field.

I would rather see Oregon in the "bumble bee" uniforms than look at the blue field.
Bama and WSU, both in crimson, would be a sight with that blue backdrop.

Aint that the truth - that is the ugliest thing I have seen on a football field. Something is just not right about buue grass. Bluegrass in KY is even green!

I could be wrong but I dont think we are even eligible to play in the MPC bowl.At 6-6 I think there is a rule stating that you have to play in a Bowl that has a tie in to your conference.This would send us to the Independence Bowl more then likely since they have the 8th SEC selection.

I've seen Boise Games and it is a very nice city. But if they do go and Shula is retained what will feelings be if they lose.

No there is not. The rule does say that you can not go before a 7-5 team.

Not necessarily so. If we don’t get picked up by one of the bowls the SEC has a tie in with Bama could be picked as an At Large Team to play in a bowl that may not have enough teams in their conference that are bowl eligible.
