Nike Pro Combat Uni's

I'd be willing to bet a paycheck that the appearance of the uniforms will be virtually unchanged. We don't play in the WAC or CUSA. Don't fall for such nonsense.

I wince when I think of Florida with the “one jersey for one game.” It turned out great for us, not so much for them.

Think about it this way. The Nike houndstooth baseball cap was created based on the Nike jersey from the Ole Miss game in '04 (I believe that date is correct). I remember this because I was a student and they gave the hats away free to all the students in the student section.

They did the helmets for the SECCG, but not the jerseys. UF did the Pro Combat Uni's for the FSU game. It's the same jersey Tebow's wearing on the cover of NCAA Football '11 (but they edited the white helmet out & put in the orange one).

Nobody's arguing otherwise.

But Nike did the Pro Combat series for Texas & Oklahoma last year without changing things significantly & by honoring throwbacks. I agree they'll prob change things up enough to try to sell some to fans, but it doesn't mean we're gonna trot out looking like Oregon or the two mockups we've seen floating around.

Confirming these are photoshopped from a template and 100% fake. There is zero chance we change the uni’s, especially to some BS Oregon ducks looking crap like this.

Furthermore the one picture provided makes us like Ohio State except the helmet is white instead of gray.

At least take the logo off of the shoulders, along with that white line, and keep the jersey number on the helmets. Then maybe I can tolerate it for a little while... but I'll boycott Nike if I see Alabama take the field in this nightmarish uniform.

I've done that for years. I haven't had anything made by Nike in twenty years.

I wouldn't mind white helments, after all Bama used to wear em, but ANYTHING ELSE would be a TERRIBLE decision, heck even the white helmet wouldn't be a good decision!

It does, at least, say the changes will be minimal. No matter, we can sacrifice the pro combats by fire after the game to appease the traditionalists.
