Nike Pro Combat Uni's

I read on the clicker in an article where CNS was pleased with Tuesday's practice and it mentioned on the 3rd page where Bama will be playing a game this year with the Nike pro Combat uniform. Anyone have a clue of what they look like?

If they incorporate new material when it comes to keeping players cool and whatnot, that's fine. However, DO NOT mess with the look. None of this "new-age" look or two-tone stuff. If they do, the fans will win out regarding moves like this in the future, mark my word.

Nike says Sept. 1st they will reveal...

Nike is going to release the design for the "new" uni's on Sept 1st.

Im guessing the way they are engineered, not really a design change for the naked eye. A small tweek here or there in the stitching or BAMA written someplace. But from the stands, it will be the same....I hope.

I think they look good as far as uniforms go, but I'm not sure how I feel about it for Bama. I don't care for the Houndstooth on the away jeresys though and it's not too different than the current one.

You're right. Nike and the University knows most of the fans would go out and buy the new jerseys or merchandise. It would be a big money maker for both parties. I think it is starting to grow on me, but I don't think the jerseys will look like that come Sept. 1. There may be subtle changes, but nothing like that (I don't think).

At least take the logo off of the shoulders, along with that white line, and keep the jersey number on the helmets. Then maybe I can tolerate it for a little while... but I'll boycott Nike if I see Alabama take the field in this nightmarish uniform.

They're nothing like the quality from last year's Pro Combat release. The Bama mocks on here use the Oklahoma dude from last year's group.

If we can exercise patience until September 1st, we'll see what they're gonna be then.
