Non-Qualifiers?

Can anyone give a update on who might not qualify this year from our stellar recruiting class?

"Latest leak from a senior official in the administration" indicates that one WR, one DE, and two DT's (one in-state and one not) are likely not to qualify. Others are on track or very close to qualifying.
Before anyone asks, there is no link and the source will not be disclosed.
While it's not good news, hope this helps.

Out of 27 signed, this is 4 that likely won't make it. 2 seem certain to "grayshirt," so we're down to possibly 21 qualifying. If that is the case, I would think thats a very good number considering earlier speculation. The waiting game certainly is no fun.

I think Brown and Hall can get the job done, but I too am feeling a little sick about the possibility of NS not quallin'.

We Are Alabama!

Five players who are on the outside looking in regarding qualification are:

Brandon Fanney, Kevin Hamilton, Jeramie Holifield, Ezekial Knight, and Nakita Stover.

From Bamamag:
Daily reports on these five are as volatile as some stock market readings–up one day, down the next. For instance, the most recent information on Stover is that he is very close and that it will come down to a couple of scores on final examinations. Holifield has made excellent progress, but is still considered likely to be in prep school or junior college in the fall. Knight seems to be on course to qualify, but cannot afford the slightest stumble.

It is our belief that both Fanney and Hamilton will start their post-high school careers in junior colleges.
