Notre Dame at Alabama: With losses to Xavier and Michigan, Notre Dame is going to need some eye-catching non-conference victories pretty soon to enhance its NCAA Tournament at-large resume come March.

They do match up with us. Pretty much all they do is stand outside and shoot three pointers. Our weakness last year was getting behind too much early because the other team was shooting wide open three pointers. Hopefully, we will see some adjustments. Maybe play Felix a little more with Jonus and Steele. Davis and Davidson should be able to handle their big men inside.

I was THERE for that insane DOCKERY shot! My goodness...the dejection we faced while down...they were fixing the clock, while the No. 1 team was about to lose their ACC opener, at home, against an unranked team that beat us at their place last year...ugh.

And then, a miracle. I just remember seeing it go in right in front of me, and then NOISE.

That said, I'll definitely be taping the Bama game to watch later on Wednesday. I wish it were tomorrow, I could see it live otherwise...eh, oh well.

If we are going to improve as a team I think this where we have to start...defending the three pointers. I have to wince every time I see a team we're facing post up for a three...I know it's going in because the man was WIDE OPEN. I think to myself, "how can this be?"

I wouldn't get angry about this if it was every once in awhile but it happens way to often.

Why are they playing conference games so early?

Duke doesn't have another conference game until January 8. This game was probably a TV thing because FSN has a deal to televise ACC games on Sunday nights.
