I did not see this game, I worked that day. However, one might rightly (in my view) call this reaching the total bottom before an ascent unlike any in the entire history of the sport. Think about it like this: the ULM loss was our fifth loss of 2007. It took three full seasons (2008-2010) to equal the number of losses in an eight-game span in 2007.
The combined loss total for 2006-2007 was 13.
Since that day ten years ago, we've only lost 14 total games.
From 13 losses in two seasons to 14 losses in ten seasons......un....be......lievable......
