I wrote to my Congressman about Net Neutrality but I don't have much confidence this will get stopped. The right people aren't making enough noise. I need my relatives to post on Facebook about it with Minions memes so their friends with pictures of their dogs as profile pictures can like it and share it to their friends who only ever post bible verses.

I actually make that statement with little scorn or ridicule but a buttload of anecdotal evidence.

It's great seeing all this noise being made but, this noise should have been happening a year ago. There are 3 republicans and 2 democrats on the committee so, the vote will be 3-2 in favor of crushing net neutrality. Nothing will change that unless we start a crowd funding campaign to raise a million bucks to buy a no vote from one of the GOP members. Actually, that sounds like a good plan, if the ISPs can buy votes, than we the people should start doing the same with these crowd funding sites.

I have no desire to re-litigate 2016, but Hillary was adamant in her support of net neutrality, and Trump simply never mentioned it during the campaign (to be fair, he didn't really mention any policies beyond discriminating against Muslims). The only position he ever took came in the form of a 2014 tweet opposing net neutrality. No one other than techies with foresight cared, because emails or whatever.
