Perfect response to this thread.
I'll just never understand people.
I see Bush Derangement Syndrome is still alive and kicking. I do not recall ever applauding Bush for that show of bravado. I will give credit to Shrub for actually flying a military jet to the aircraft carrier. Big Ears simply strolls out from behind two large armored personnel carriers. I am surprised he wasn't dressed in a Qadaffi-style dictator's uniform. :rolleye2:
He's so courageous.
He did not "fly" it. He only flew in it while playing dress-up.
It was politically (and morally) courageous. Had it turned out like Carter's military operation, he would have been crucified especially since the VP, Secretary of Defense and Joint Chiefs of Staff Vice Chairmen all opposed the boots on the ground mission. He probably bet his presidency on this.
You're right. Truly the greatest man that has ever lived.
Every president does good things, every president does bad things (except maybe WHH). This one was a good one for Obama. As much as it hurts, admit it.You're right. Truly the greatest man that has ever lived.

Where is Titus at?

It was founded near Jordan Lake in 1732, and the founders desperately needed women to join their settlement, so they sent out riders to the East with the message "Tit Us, Please" and thus the town came to be what it is today.
Ah. Is there an annual re-enactment of this? Cause that sounds like fun. Much more so than shooting at pretend Union soldiers with muskets.
Bin Laden wanted to see another major terrorist attack occur in the United States and wanted to kill President Barack Obama and Gen. David Petraeus when he was the commander of international forces in Afghanistan. Bin Laden ordered that units be established at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan and in Pakistan to target planes carrying Petraeus or Obama.
Vice President Joseph Biden should not be attacked, he instructed.
"Biden is totally unprepared for that post."
If Obama were killed and Biden took control of the White House, bin Laden wrote, it would "lead the US into a crisis."
OBL's thoughts on VP Biden:

Can’t we just celebrate blowing someone’s brains out in non-partisan harmony?
But, seriously, I have a thought experiment for everyone. Imagine for a moment that the raid had gone horribly wrong, that we had failed to get OBL, and that we had lost the entire Seal Team 6. For those of you who now say the President deserves only tertiary credit for the mission, would you also have assigned him only tertiary blame?
My guess is you would have crucified him, and I would have agreed with you.
Which is why I disagree with you now.
