Proctor is an issue again bring too big and slow. The coaching here is just bad as no one develops. Pretty much too late to do anything now.Well, let see. Anything that weighs 370 lbs is gonna be tough to move and it ain't gonna move fast. Formby needs to give up eating the Fantastic Four at Taco Casa if he wants to hold his lunch during the game.
I hate to say it, but since he is an employee now, I'll go ahead. Rushing Proctor by simply going outside is an almost guaranteed sack or QB hurry.Proctor is an issue again bring too big and slow. The coaching here is just bad as no one develops. Pretty much too late to do anything now.
I have to agree. I'm a firm believer in "games are won and lost in the trenches!". Especially the offensive line. I was concerned about this year's unit, and was puzzled by all the talk about how great our OL would be this year. I didn't see it. We're not going to score many points with a weak OL. There are some freshmen who may develop into great OL. Time will tell. The defensive line may have been better with Keenan. But as a unit, not by much. Simmons looks good, but needs development. The weak linemen are a big part of the teams woes at this point.Honestly our OLine got pushed around, they had noooooo push all game long, im hoping it's not a strength & conditioning problem..
If it is crap that's not good, that's something that can't be fixed right now or with this coaching staffs weight room philosophy apparently., these guys are too good & big for the results we seen against FSU or against Oklahoma & Vandy in all honesty..
I may get blasted for saying that, buttttt, the results are blaring & slapping us in the face as these losses keep piling up..
Something just ain't right & im calling it from actual results, on the football field since Deboer has been here, this simply isn't "The Process" anymore & the results are speaking for themselves..
Blast away that's just being honest & not sugarcoating this anymore..
Y'all have seen the same things I've seen & I'm being brutally honest about the situation after going rewatching the game..
Our OLine was slower & weaker than FSU, I rewatched the game 3 times, watch the game again, paying attention too nothing but our OLine play, it's sickening & not good..
What's worse same goes for the DLine, that FSU QB saw the same before the game, im sure he seen that watching game film & spoke the truth we couldn't catch him..He wasn't lying at alllll..
I agree a million percent my friend & im not sure Simmons will make a difference or not..I have to agree. I'm a firm believer in "games are won and lost in the trenches!". 2nd gear? Looked like we were stuck in neutral…Nothing changes until we look at the OL coach and more importantly S&C
The entire team looked gassed Saturday and seemed to have no 2nd gear
I was at the game and during warmups it was obvious the entire team is slow and methodical. During the game, it was really hard to watch how easily we got pushed around where the play was and away from the play that was not shown on TV. Take away the rain and FSU puts up 40+, the difference was that noticeable. Malzahn did not try to trick our Defense, they lined up and just beat us. What we have been told the last few months about this team is nowhere close to the truth.I think the glaring issue from the FSU game was just how poor the O line was. It had a flow-on effect to the rest of the offense.
What should it look like? What changes do you guys want?
Exactly Jammer..No matter your system of play, if your players are slower & weaker than you're competition, your going too lose against top tier talent & in the SEC unfortunately..Nothing changes until we look at the OL coach and more importantly S&C

ExactlyBoth our line coaches are here for their recruiting skills and it would appear not much else
Problem is this is Deboer's culture & it's simply not working..Culture has to change before anything turns around.
The overall glaring issue on both sides of the ball was the instances of players being caught on video not hustling and not giving their all during plays. That has been the biggest disappointment from most observers and fans I've seen. I don't mind getting beaten if you're giving your all. You just tip your cap to the other team and say they just beat us. But when you've got players on the field (21 documented instances so far) not hustling and getting out hustled by the other team, that is a zero tolerance item.I think the glaring issue from the FSU game was just how poor the O line was. It had a flow-on effect to the rest of the offense.

It's a balancing act, it's not easy, and there are endless "yeah, buts."Problem is this is Deboer's culture & it's simply not working..
How much damage do we allow Deboer too do, before making the change, the longer he stays the more damage will happen..
