Completely agree. The stupid thing is everyone knows Wilson can’t throw and of course they would try to run the ball. Boggles my mind that Golding wouldn’t know that was going to be their plan.

His calmer demeanor on the sidelines lately, even when things seem a bit haywire, gives me comfort. It means he isn’t seeing anything he didn’t expect to see.I’d pay $20 to watch you ask him that question.
We have so many experts on this website who analyze and critique ever facet of every game.
Yet the main expert (Saban) seems pretty happy with where we are.
I always believe Coach Saban wishes the fans could enjoy the game and let him worry about things like Time of Possession and Golding’s Play calling.
To be fair, several of the "lesser" teams we play will sometimes deviate from the norm and throw a lot of stuff (like different motions and such) at Bama that they have not shown before so it seems reasonable in games like this that we can absorb what they might do in a couple of series (like we did last night) and then clamp down. The stupid thing is everyone knows Wilson can’t throw and of course they would try to run the ball. Boggles my mind that Golding wouldn’t know that was going to be their plan.
Well, there are ways to disguise and confuse the defense, Kentucky chose to shift everyone all at once. It was necessary to see what they were going to do so the coaches could apply the proper adjustment. The antidote to the wrong poison does no good. The stupid thing is everyone knows Wilson can’t throw and of course they would try to run the ball. Boggles my mind that Golding wouldn’t know that was going to be their plan.
It was not about the outcome of the game score. Did you notice what I said after that? We were struggling on offense before the pick 6... and after that, things started to click again for offense.Up 28-3 at half, how did the pick 6 change the outcome? It was never in doubt.
If only our coaches who are paid thousands of dollars, some millions, could come here and read our forum while game planning. The sky would be the limit! I bet Bama would never give up a yard or a point on defense. A man can dream. Oh well, back to the reality of only winning 63-3. I guess I will just have to learn to accept these “good” wins. The stupid thing is everyone knows Wilson can’t throw and of course they would try to run the ball. Boggles my mind that Golding wouldn’t know that was going to be their plan.
Again, we were up 28-3 at the half. How were we struggling again? We maybe started slow in the first qtr, but 21 straight points in the second is far from struggling. It was not about the outcome of the game score. Did you notice what I said after that? Again, it's not about the score. Take the score out of the conversation and look at it from Saban's perspective. He will say that Offense struggled to be consistent on the offense for a while and that is something they will work on. He is specific about details. Had we done that against Auburn, and we did that last year against them and it costed us couple of points.
The DL has done well. When they’ve broken long runs this year, it’s mostly been because the ILBs or Safeties were out of position.UK's starters are not chopped liver...after that they struggle with talent and experience. If you look at their games we blew them out much easier, albeit they were down 10 players due to covid and injuries. Once we got our run reads fixed it was game over...that's why they tried to pass.
From my perspective you are quite correct...when they settled down UK didn't have a chance. The DL has done well. When they’ve broken long runs this year, it’s mostly been because the ILBs or Safeties were out of position.
I agree - the defense has played as well as any in the country for the last 10 quarters.By the way, even though our defense is awful and Golding is horrible, we now lead the league in scoring defense.
Only two tds giving up in the last 14 qtrs.I agree - the defense has played as well as any in the country for the last 10 quarters.
And yet you can watch the game and see him not sprinting to catch the RB bouncing outside...Everyone is on Dylan's butt for not recording tackle, but I am pretty sure it's not 100 percent on him.
I saw that, too - twice. I have not gone back and rewatched the game. Maybe I should. And yet you can watch the game and see him not sprinting to catch the RB bouncing outside...
Not being overly critical, but either he's injured or he's taking plays off.
Something is up, that's for sure. And yet you can watch the game and see him not sprinting to catch the RB bouncing outside...

I saw that as well... Not an excuse at all, but No answer for that. And yet you can watch the game and see him not sprinting to catch the RB bouncing outside...
