Bama Game Thread: Official post-game thread - Bama beats Wisconsin 42-10

Offensive line did a great job and it definitely showed. We honestly could have handed the ball off to Haynes and Miller 90% and still scored 42 with the holes the OL were opening.

Milroe looked a lot better in the pocket and that's due to the OL. My favorite pass of the day was him hitting the TE down the seam for a touchdown. If he can start taking advantage of routes like that our offense will be hell to stop for any body. Great job Jalen.

Defense is still coming together and we're starting to see some pass rushers emerge. #22 and #34 are cat quick off the edge and #22 hits like a locomotive. The secondary is what is until they get more reps under them. Saban said that would be our issue this year.

I would be very interested I could find a breakdown if there is any major difference between what Steele did vs what Womack is doing scheme wise. I say that because I am not a huge x’s and o’s guy.
Yes include me in that!

After yesterday's games I will admit that I am totally confused. I overrated Wisconsin and underrated Kentucky. Could it be that Alabama is that much better than Georgia? Alabama and Georgia were both on the road, so no home field advantage. I guess the real question is who is better, Kentucky or Wisconsin? I personally think that on a neutral field, Kentucky is the superior team. Georgia was underwhelming and Kentucky played over their heads and it almost cost the dawgs. Based on what I saw yesterday, Alabama should beat UGA in two weeks. The caveat is which teams show up on Saban Field at Bryant Denny Stadium on September 28th.
I don’t think Georgia has a game changing receiver on their roster. So if their line is not dominating the d line it can be a long day for their offense.

Anyone hear anything on our injuries?
DeBoer's comments :

"Malachi [Moore] got hit to the head. So I think we're just going through the protocol with him. It helps having the bye week here. So I'm thinking he'll be all right, be fine. [OLB Qua] Russaw, a lower leg. I don't know exactly where, but I know it is lower and just continue to evaluate him. [RB] Richard Young, I think same thing. So just lower leg, I think actually very similar below the knee area. So just continue to evaluate those guys. Definitely good to have a couple weeks here, getting ready."

For those who do like so many Milroe running plays, that is who he is. Better get used to it. That QB off-tackle is one of Milroe's best plays.

LT Overton is a man.

My advice to future opponents is "y'all do not need to even cover Eyan Williams. He's only 17 and he probably can't catch anyway. It's okay to let Williams run free." (I am stunned at how often teams leave Williams wide open.)
