Everyone of us before the game would have taken out D vs them driving 70 yards with 2 min. They earned that win. It was not given to them. Defensively we ran out of gas and just made a few mental mistakes and they made some incredible plays on that drive. That was a class of champions.

... don't get me wrong, two of their touchdowns could have been called illegal picks. But that's not WHY we lost.

If that's all we got out of a coordinator change. BS. Hope to God we can have a QB next year that can throw the ball in the middle of the field. That defense didn't deserve to go out like this. For those that like to think Dabo can't coach because of the Dubose BS. Whatever. Get over it. Please act like you know the "inside scoop". Whatever.

Congrats to Clemson. They are a better team on both sides of the ball. No threat of a passing game, poor OL play, and the defense being on the field for approximately 100 plays was our downfall. Thanks to our seniors.

It honestly shouldn't have mattered. Bama lost this game due to their own stubbornness and baffling in game strategy. It was a disaster.

Some of you are just sad. Good to see others have class and know how to win and lose with class.

All Alabama had to do was a little offense to keep the ball away from Clemson. The problem I have is that Bama's defense was good enough to win the game and it was put on their shoulders and would have done this with some decent calls by the refs. This makes it tough to accept but then 31 points should be enough to win.

That's ridiculous.

The truth is Alabama should never have been in the championship game. Not because this team wasn't deserving, it was. But they lost so many key guys from last year. They lost key defenders, they lost a Heisman winner, they lost the starting QB. This team really had no business being this good with a true freshman QB.

Also, that was a very good team we lost to. They blocked extremely well. They tackled well in the second half. They passed as well as any college team I've ever seen... Back shoulder and timing was pro quality. I believe our defense was the best and my heart tells me we should have won because we could have scored more but the truth is I'm not sure the superior team didn't win. If we played them again I would not be able to call us favorites.

We scored more points than I expected but #4 and #7 are legit and they make Clemson's other players better. Great game hate losing though!

Ridiculous. DB and QB recruiting has been top notch. Jalen hit a wall passing that he wasn't able to overcome. He will have to or be replaced next year. We can't expect our defense to score like they did this year.
