I re-watched the game last night. It's pretty incredible how we won. To not score in the 2nd half and beat a team that simply doesn't lose at home was unbelievable. I don't know where we go from here, but it was very impressive at times on both sides of the ball. We simply made plays when we had to.

Maybe I haven't been paying close enough attention, but I was shocked how many times Simpson went under center. Was that for crowd noise purposes, or is that something we will be doing going forward? It seemed to work well.

In terms of problems in the game, we called very early timeouts and twice we laid eggs coming out of the timeout. Again, I'm sure crowd noise was the factor, but we have got to start getting the play calls in earlier with all the pre-snap movement we do.

Vanderbilt is going to be a tough out, but I am not worried about us not being focused on this game, and I'm not worried about the offense. Last year, we could not drive the ball, we just relied on big plays. This year is totally different. We can drive the field and expect to do so on every possession. Keep Pavia on the sidelines.
Love him going under center. That play action fake is really good. And if we get the running game going better, it'll be deadly!

Nice to have a QB that's comfortable under center. Probably a lot these guys never did it in high school.
Sorry if already discussed but, did we go conservative in the second half? It seemed like we played well but we didn't score. Don't recall Ty throwing downfield much in the 2nd half except for a couple throws under duress.

It's a huge difference if the offense delivers a couple first downs even if you end up punting. As long as we can stay away from the three and outs, the offense can help with the field position battle.

Did anyone notice that Ole Miss ran the shotgun for their victory formation plays?

I have lots of UGA family. They officially don’t “care” anymore. 21 and 22 was all they needed in life.
I can tell they are a bit deflated because on the UGA Reddit page Saturday night they were openly admitting they were fortunate to beat us in the ‘21 rematch because our WR group was injured.

i wish we could turn that brilliant energy on analyzing the spots that jam miller was getting all night

One last on this game . Heard this morning, some idiots on 690 the fan brought up the radio call ending on the Alabama Sports radio Network with a Georgia Dig and the pics that I guess are viral of Ty Simpson with Hedge clippings from Sanford Stadium. As the reason Georgia has to beat Bama next time they play. I Guess actual disrespect of getting beat 9 of 10 games is secondary to perceived disrespect of Hedge clippings and words. If you can’t get motivated for one of the biggest games of the regular season , not to mention a team you haven't beaten much lately, then you should probably quit playing football.

The second thing, i heard a crazy stat this morning. We kill CKD for going 4-5 to end last season into the first game of this year , but Kirby Smart’s record over the last 7 FBS games is 4-3 , with three of the four wins coming in overtime. So razor thin to being 3-4 or 1-6 , especially considering the only reason tgey beat UT is a makeable FG miss by Tennessee

I know you will appreciate this update: It’s now 10 of 11 since 2007.
