One of the commentators said we should have stepped out of bounds rather than scoring a touchdown and ran out the clock. I disagree. We needed that TD to insure the victory.

That might make sense if we were up by a point.

FWIW, Alabama on my birthday (Tuesday coming up):

1978 - beat Va Tech
1989 - beat Penn State (Rayam block)
1995 - beat UNT
2000 - lost to UCF (greatest gift DuBose ever gave me)
2006 - beat FIU

He meant that the game could be over if Alabama ran the clock and scored a field goal (If he had stepped out of bounds)
But scoring a field goal is not a guarantee

It's why we have the broadcaster alert for him

saying stupid or obvious things continuously qualifies one to be on the list. There are others on the watch list who don't call many games we watch

I must admit it neverrrrrr gets watching, the faces of opposing fans, go from looking like they're about too beat us, to that look of utter defeat in an instant..

I call those opposing fans "Bama Moments"..

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The problem with getting all excited and wetting your pants is that you have to go home with a loss and wet pants.

2 over 3 minutes (3:19 when we fumbled in 2Q and 3:51 when we turned it over on downs in 3Q)
2 over 2 minutes (2:12 first drive, 2:16 in 2Q on first TD drive)
1 over 1:30 minute (1:40 n 3Q)
the other 5 under 1:30 minutes

avg drive: 2:26

This has to be fixed. Our Defense cannot stay on field that long.

5 of 11 drives were 3 and out

thankfully, out of the last 7 games, it's an anomaly
