I found that Ogre press conference from after the game...

I like his candor and honesty, but I will always have a problem with a coach who says we have to recruit better at this, or that position... in the middle of a season. He's effectively throwing the players under the bus and saying they aren't, and will never be good enough to get the job done. It's basically a recruiting tactic at the expense of your current players.

I will say this. LSU is not beating us again until they get an elite QB. They can’t run on us and haven’t been able to since 2010. Without a QB, they might as well bang their heads on concrete. It would be a lot less painful.

LSU fans were saying we Bama had not seen a team like them this year and they're right.

Bama had not yet seen a team that scored 0 on the Tide this year - until they saw LSU.

Somebody told me after the game that at least they can't say we haven't played anybody any more. I just told them I wasn't sure if that was true, as at least the other teams we have played actually scored.

Well I have to say having spent a lot of time surfing the crowd today that LSU fans were very confident today. I heard “not today Saban” a lot. I guess hope springs eternal. LSU fans were out in droves. Just crazy all day. The fans emptied out after the missed field goal. Very proud of the effort. It was raucous and loud. The noise clearly impacted us but it was a great experience for us to grow as a team. LSU fans did point out that UGA better represented and I was a little disappointed in the turnout for Bama fans. For those that went, it was a treat to see the fans get shut down in a hurry

All I know is PATs have been a hot mess all year and it needs to be fixed. We're already inching towards the caliber of opponent where we can't afford to pitter away a supposedly free point.

Somebody told me after the game that at least they can't say we haven't played anybody any more. I just told them I wasn't sure if that was true, as at least the other teams we have played actually scored.

LSU's defense was legit. And they ran all over UGA. I think LSU is as legit as any team we're likely to face for the rest of the season. That we shut down their offense feels more like a testament to how lights out our boys were playing rather than how poor the competition was. It left me feeling very, very good about the rest of the season. I realize that we've still got UGA and two other quality teams on our schedule if we stay the course, but the matchup against UGA looks pretty good to me and Clemson is the only one that has stats that make them appear to be able to at least give us a run for our money and even then I'm not so sure they can if we have a healthy roster.
