That's not how 'you play how you practice' works but your Ty fandom is duly noted.
Not everyone plays how they practice, and it has nothing to do with Ty fandom. I vividly remember hearing this, and I took it as a positive in Ty's favor. His issue has always been confidence. That's been said many times. How do you get confidence? You get it by playing well in games. Most of his issues will be solved with a few games of experience under his belt

In the end you are paying a coach $10 million a year to win games for you. I think that dude is putting his best chess pieces on the field to do just that. Ty will have his chance.

If that's what's actually going on. I personally tend to believe it's team politics, and that we'll be cleaning house this December. It's pretty clear to me that's what's going on

I mean, you can believe the Earth is flat and I certainly respect that. But what we believe and what is really happening may not jive.

It's not like I just pulled it out of my butt. It's what the "insiders" are saying, and there's no reason to believe they're lying.

I mean, I think the Mona Lisa is a butt ugly woman but most think I'm a loon. Perceptions are funny that way. Insiders, outsiders...everyone has a perspective whether it is genuine, perceived or wishful thinking. I don't know man. I am just a dude on a keyboard pulling for my team.

Again, I'm just going by the insiders, and the fact that it perfectly explains whats going on, because nothing else does. Ty looked better in A day (arguably both years but definitely this year), the word from all the practices has always been Ty has looked a little bit better, but not a lot better. So why isn't he playing? Because DeBoer can't

Look, I believe in a lot of conspiracy theories because the CIA made up the term to discredit the truth. That one I do not believe in. Maybe if I researched it better I could be convinced but it really does not matter what I think. The next football game I coach will be my first.

I'm guessing a bunch of folks clamoring for Ty forget that the recurring news out of spring / fall camps last year was that he can make all the throws but tends to try to 'hero ball' too much in practice, forcing throws, seemingly in an attempt to show he has the better arm.
That was absolutely true at the time.

What I’ve heard and read since then is that CKD working with Ty from last Spring until now corrected those tendencies and that things starting clicking for him by staying within the confines of the system and what Ty’s strengths are in the intermediate and short game.

I’m sure Ty still makes mistakes and probably would go through his own growing pains but he has stopped trying to recklessly match Deep throws.

No doubt in my mind that CKD is just trying to get through this first season so that he can get more of "his" guys in place for "his" offense.

I think Ty and JM both, picked that up from being on the field with BY under the BOB offense. So much of that was LONG throws because it was hard to get throwing lanes with BY lacking ideal height (there are other things it seemed BOB mighta coulda done to mitigate that some, but that's another thing altogether). They probably felt the pressure to do that as well and it's probably still hanging with them a bit.
