Then how bad did the guy behind him look in the offseason for him to win the job? Didn't they go against our defense in live situations? He had to have struggled then as well.

Actually, Pritchett was ahead of him up until he got dinged up. If Pritchett is 100%, might be time to shuffle a little bit to see what happens.

Gee, how did I know Booker would be the one to talk about the “players only meeting”? Yawn…

I get it. last year, Booker was my fav OL. He was playing with passion and a bit of a mean streak. Now it seems to be more talk and a less walk. We need midseason 2022 Booker to come back...

The NCAA created the idea of the "student-athlete" to prevent schools from having to pay players and to avoid taking on the liability of players who were hurt significantly or who developed CTE. A system that makes billions of dollars while not paying the athletes is fundamentally immoral. I don't know where you are coming from. So, I agree, we fundamentally disagree on the basics. Have a nice day.
Paying a 17 year old a million dollars when he hasn’t played a down of college football is fundamentally immoral, to me.
Yeah, we disagree on a lot.

but he's being paid to play. The timing isn't the main point.

The fundamental issue in this debate is does one feel the labor/entertainment workers should be compensated?

The answer is yes of course. And we are obviously moving in that direction(but not there yet in a real way....right now we are just picking at the edges.) We will actually be there when some percentage of those hundreds of millions of dollars from deals like that bigten tv deal(the richest ever in college football) actually goes to the labor.

The unfortunate thing is this also sends things in a direction that isn't good for college football as a whole as a product.

You haven't given an actual reason why that is immoral. I believe it's the opposite. It's fundamentally immoral to profit billions of dollars off that 17 year old's labor and give him nothing.
