Bama Game Thread: Official Postgame Thread - Bama vs. UTw...

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

I think this team is better than this, but it could be a couple Weeks before we see it. I said it before: the timing of this one was horrible. But thems the breaks. We weren’t ready and I think deep down many of us knew it. This team will have to grow a lot this season.

Alabama has never lost by double digits at home under Nick Saban. In fact it's never lost by more than 7.

Tide lost to both LSU and ... ULM ... by 7 in 2007, Saban's first year.

Last time Bama lost by 10+ at home was 20-3 to South Carolina in 2004 — Lou Holtz vs. Mike Shula.

These kind of streaks seem to be falling a lot the last few years.

Unfortunately it is what it is. Couldn't have asked for a better ride than this and it's always possible we get one more.

But I really do think it's time to accept that we're past the prime CNS years. I really do hope for his sake that he gets one more championship the next 2-3 years before he retires. I'm sure it'd be hard for him to go out without one
