Bama Game Thread: Official Postgame Thread - Reliaquest Bowl, Bama vs. Michigan, Dec. 31, 11:00 AM, ESPN...

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting boarda>!

Milroe is done, so I won’t waste my breath on that subject. The coaching staff is disappointing. No other way to put it. They knew Milroe’s extreme limitations on that last series and the play calling was atrocious. They should have taken Milroe out at the half, and didn’t. I saw no offensive development at all this year. My grade post bowl game for Deboer is a D.
Keep in mind, our offensive coordinator got fired from his last offensive coordinator position for being bad at the job

Horrible. Drive all the way down inside the redzone and then the 4 plays are pathetic. Bad day for Milroe, but I’m more frustrated with DeBoer. Losses to a 6 loss Vandy, 6 loss Oklahoma, and a 5 loss Michigan. Goods wins, no doubt, but a disappointing year.

I've have had a lot of negative things to say about the defensive staff/change of scheme, but I'm not on the fire the whole staff train because the defense has become the bright spot.

However, I am absolutely not saying the only problem with the team is Milroe. They can't even give these players the right cleats, they can't block, they can't run the ball, there's a lot of things wrong here.

It should be noted that Alabama's offensive coordinator had the second worst offense in all of college football the last time he was OC. I'm not saying merely bad, I am saying straight up only one offense in college football scored less points. If you're really good at your job, you'd take the worst offensive players and still muster more points than that, so something is clearly lacking there.

This means when Milroe was struggling and it's time to mix up the playcalling, I'm not sure Alabama has the guy to do that because he's shown he can actually do far worse than Alabama did on offense this year.

I would love for the press to grill CKD with some hard questions and make him answer them.
“Why wasn’t Milroe pulled during the Tennessee game? Why wasn’t he pulled during the Oklahoma game? Why wasn’t he pulled after the 1st quarter?” It’s not every day where I want someone to commit career suicide, but…
