When the head coach won't make a QB change....well, there ya go.9-4 in the same season in which you beat UGA, LSU, Mizzou, and USCe. How in the actual HELL!

I have a feeling he may be looking for another job a couple of years from now.............unless he changes things up. I am going to give him a chance to fix things because he has a contract, but if next year is the same or worse, he is gone...........I get the feeling he is stubborn as well, and he paid for itI have a feeling with Deboer we will always be an average team now.
Peyton Thorne has a better chance of being a NFL QB than MilroeWhat you saw on that last series is the thing @TIDE-HSV stated in the 2nd half thread. Milroe is so poor fundamentally that, in pressure situations, he simply reverts to back to high school play. He was technically bad coming out of high school as a QB. He was simply better athletically than “the other guys”.
Yeah BoB did Bryce no favors in his time as OC/QB coach at Alabama. But there was one thing he was right about. Milroe is not a QB.
The best thing we have going for us is it is a weak QB class for the NFL draft this year. And there will be several needing a QB. Hopefully some GM thinks JM is “fixable” and rolls the dice. Above all, get an agent in JM’s ear telling him “you need to go”.
One of his biggest faults.........When the head coach won't make a QB change....well, there ya go.
The dynasty ended last year before Saban retired. His decision to retire sealed it. Time for Alabama to rebuild. I just hope that the entire team doesn't hit the portal after that game. Not sure that I would want to play for DeBoer after that game. All season, I had some tell me, no actually they SWORE to me "the dynasty is NOT dead!". The first 4 loss season since 2007 says otherwise. Oh, and it's officially the end of the streak of 10 plus win seasons that Saban had going since 2008. And yes, of course, let's not forget, Saban went 7-6 and lost to Louisiana-Monroe in his first season, just in case anybody forgot. Well, call me cynical, but I'm not seeing Deboer rattle off 6 national championships, 9 SEC championships, 4 Heisman winners and 16 consecutive seasons of 10 plus wins
I hate this way of thinking.I have a feeling with Deboer we will always be an average team now.
The crappy offensive line even somehow managed to make him a lane to see and throw through.I defended this guy, but on 4th down, a good QB would have hit Rico Scott here. Throw the ball between he bottom of the B and the A in the endzone. Ball should have already been out, if you want to be an NFL QB, windows are much tighter than this. View attachment 48222
My hot take: I WILL NOT judge CKD until he has a QB not named Jalen Milroe.
Not against SEC opponents.I hate this way of thinking.
Before this year, the man has won 90% of all his games!
If we fire a guy/give up on him for one bad year, we become like all the other teams looking to catch lightning in a bottle.
Give the man a chance to build HIS team, starting with a QB who can hit open receivers.
Pate was one of the first I heard say publicly something like, "There are guys on the team who were kept around because they held things together in the transition...their efforts are appreciated, but they won't be back in the future" ... wouldn't surprise me if he's even stronger with details now that the season is overI wonder what Pates read on the game will be , he doesnt hold back and he seems to be fair. I will be surprised if FunnyMaine throws Debore or Milroe under the bus.
This game WAS the time to sell those coming back and those coming in that “next year WILL be different”. Start Ty or Mack. We are not just playing. We are playing for the FUTURE.The dynasty ended last year before Saban retired. His decision to retire sealed it. Time for Alabama to rebuild. I just hope that the entire team doesn't hit the portal after that game. Not sure that I would want to play for DeBoer after that game.
Ok, but holding the ball too long, dropping your eyes when things get a little hot in the pocket, not able to throw into a blitz effectively all welcomes more pressure. Once teams figured that out, they continually brought more than the Oline could block. A solid running game, which we lost interest in all year, keeping the defense honest all helps make the Oline look better.I get what you’re saying, and agree with the primary commonality, but unfortunately there was a lot more in common with the lack of offensive line play.
Thanks BamaMoon.I hate this way of thinking.

This is what I am hoping for.
