No way we should have lost to Vandy, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Michigan. It’s just pathetic. We will be mediocre at best for the next few years. Until there is a change made things will stay inconsistent.

This game WAS the time to sell those coming back and those coming in that “next year WILL be different”. Start Ty or Mack. We are not just playing for the FUTURE.

And DeBoer failed miserably.

Wasted practices.

Now fans are mad because (reasons), but they forget that sometimes losing is okay if it serves a purpose. This loss served no purpose.

Is there any chance that TS had a pocket redshirt that he would only play in the event JM was injured? I would have negotiated this if it was predetermined that JM plays exclusively.

Deboer is coaching for his life starting with every move he makes starting next week regardless how he got in this position. CKD will have to overperform to get out from under this shadow.

And if GB or CNS had anything to do with putting CKD in this position then they better step up to the mic and answer for it. You simply cannot put the kind of handcuffs on a coach that CKD coached with this year.
I ask the same question. It's got to be beyond, "Oh, I wonder if Ty could move the ball better?"

That's football 101 and CKD didn't win 90% of his games not thinking outside the JMbox.

Well, we have a blank slate to start the year 2025. All of our losses are in 2024, so let's forget it about it when the clock strikes midnight. We have a great recruiting class coming in with an exciting 5* QB. Milroe "should" be moving on. If he doesn't, I think Deboer needs to give him an ultimatum stating he either transfers, or he will likely not start next year.
I hear ya, but with everything that has gone one this year I don't have much confidence that he would even do this.

He’s already redshirted

As for Milroe, he is not, nor will he ever be a QB...............he should have changed positions at Bobs suggestion, but hes too stubborn.............I'd tell him go to the draft or sit the bench next year
Serious question: What other position would you put him at? He doesn't want to get hit and doesn't want to hit anyone. Just put your hand on him and he will stumble all over himself and fall down.

Michigan's OL didn't play perfectly against us a year ago, but McCarthy threw them out of our pressures. He made us pay. DLs (especially as good as UM, OU, Tenn, SoCar) will always have an advantage over even the best OLs. Expecting the OL to be perfect while not expecting Milroe to be merely competent is hypocritical. He can do multiple things about the pressure...throw to the check down, step up in the pocket, throw it out of bounds. but he does NONE of that
I’m aware of how bad Milroe was, I’m just moving on from him, so I don’t understand the “hypocritical” comment. But the offensive line play this year, and not just today, was not good. Two years of wasted talent in the backfield.

No, Milroe's first look is always about 40 yards down the field. By the time he figures out that's not open, he doesn't even have time to find the checkdown.

I wonder what Pates read on the game will be , he doesnt hold back and he seems to be fair. I will be surprised if FunnyMaine throws Debore or Milroe under the bus.
FunnyMaine will sunshine pump this loss and try and make it sound like Bama can take back over college football anytime they want to
