I think the dissatisfaction from the wide receivers really showed up today. There was a lot of head shaking etc after they kept running wide open and no football comes their way. Even Jess said in his write-up that Germie Bernard could have had a career day if Milroe could have just gotten the ball to him a few times. He was running open all day. There must be a change.
And they should have all got touches today...............and would have with another QB

I feel the same way about myself.

I think it’s because I’m mourning the CFB that’s dead and resigning myself that this season is the new normal.

Basketball will be ruined eventually as well.
Good thing I got back into scale modeling............gives me something else to focus my anger at

The look Ryan Williams gave him after that high throw was both hilarious and sad.

I don't think it's an NIL thing. I think it was in exchange for Milroe staying and holding the roster together. If you break that kind of deal, then you risk alienating the players.
Yeah, I guess, but if you stubbornly stay with a player with a low ceiling who frequently underperforms, you also risk alienating players (by setting low standards).
Plus by the Oklahoma game, the transfer portal had closed in the stampede for the doors with the departure of Coach Saban had been stopped. At that point, staying with an underperforming player just sends a different message to the players: you can play very poorly for a very long time and keep your starting job.

We were assured he improved this offseason and CKD was going to help him win the Heisman (not that I care about that). The point is, we’ve been TOLD a lot.
Yea, like watching the news on TV. But, we have been told by very prominent people on this board...I mean the most prominent, that dude is gone. So, he gone.

Except the one player (Simpson) who got the shortest end of the stick here is staying. That's why I think there's more to this than what we are privy to. I'm pretty sure if we had all the information, we would all.understand. I also think if it were really a situation where DeBoer just refused to pull the trigger like you're saying, then Simpson would be gone.
