Yeah, the dad and Coach Day are full of it. Downs said, “I knew in my heart OSU was where I was supposed to be.” Yeah right, I think he’s confusing “heart” with wallet. But, that’s what CFB is for now and I don’t blame the kid (and family) doing what they needed to do to get paid.
Saw the fluff story about him on Gameday. He talked about why he left, but no mention of how much he got paid. I hate what college football is becoming.
Apparently Nick only paid him $500 in a can. If you were watching Gameday, you know.

A little tight in the tum tum knowing OU / Venables has had two weeks to scheme and prepare.

Knowing that their D is seriously stout...

I hope they don't give Venables a chance to steal signals. I've heard the helmet speakers may not be secure. I know his old Clemson defenses often looked like they knew every play that was coming. I never knew if I should admire their preparation and hard work or feel anger and disdain for their cheating.

Yeah I'll never forget when Clempson jumped that route [very] early in the NCG a few years ago, with Tua at QB.

My first thought was "WTH! It's as if they knew the play call..."

Well, even if they have, it doesn't seem to have done him much good this season...

RTR!

LET'S GO!

I was in Oklahoma for the 2002 game. That was the hottest game I've ever attended. It was at least 375 degrees. I was sitting between two guys in an Oklahoma section, right on the goal line, who made Mama June look like a heroin addict. Folks were nice enough, otherwise. Did I mention the heat?

Time to turn it up and rooooolllllllllll.
