A die-hard 60+ year old Ole Miss fan I work with told me this morning after he watched the Ole Miss highlights, and the Bama highlights and reading the coverage. He has told me that Alabama will beat Ole Miss by 20 points.

He said Ole Miss aint got nothing this year.

I just hope our boys aren't believing everything they're reading about Ole Miss struggling, and thinking they're going to be a push-over. They can't afford to overlook this team. This win is *crucial* to this year's program.

I think we beat them by 15 at the very most.

I'm starting to want to make my prediciton a little closer in score. I don't think it will be as easy as we think.

I live with an OLE Miss Fan

Do not be mislead by their poor mouthing . This will be a very tough game, the Rebs will be trying to save face( from last week) and also to start their run for a West Division title. We can win, but it will be very tough!!!

A lot of them seem to feel...

that they were looking past MSU to Bama. I've even seen the question posed "Would you rather lose to Tiger High and beat Bama, or beat Tiger High and lose to Bama."

Good point. I think we are in for a scrap.

Ole Miss's defense will hit Alabama very hard. It will be up to Alabama to respond.
They hit us hard last year and we sat back and took it. I hope this team is tougher and is the one delivering the licks this time.

I don't buy it

I don't believe they were looking past Memphis to BAMA. Memphis beat Ole Miss last year when the Rebs had Manning. They wanted to avenge the loss to Memphis. I think people use that "we were looking past them...." excuse way too much.

The Ole Miss squad will give all we can handle.

The game will be closer han the spread IMO and I look for a typical last quarter nutgrinder.

Now, If the boys prove me wrong, I'll be the first to admit it with a big 'ol smile on my face. :biggrin2:

Yesterday, I predicted a Bama win of 38 - 17 or perhaps 38 - 20. Just a gut feeling tales me that the game will be closer than I originally anticipated. 34 - 24 might be a little more realistic. However, after last year's loss, we owe them a good old fashion a$$ whuppin. Bama 38 - Old Mrs 20. Final answer!
