Im so glad u think so this could easily turn into a flame fest however me and Mag did talk privately unfortunately for u there are plently of people to back up what i say on here and other posters on this board. SO please go somewhere else with your flame. And im worried about grammer on a message board. Hey at UA i always got A's on my English papers but thank u for worrying about that for me.
By the way Jam, don't say that we talked privately. u making it seem like we had a long conversation. Thank you for the welcome Saban14.

this is the last post on this for me u messaged me privately and i have messaged u back privately and none of it needs to be on the board because that isn't what the board is about and like i stated in my original post if you are truly legit then i apologize to you but you haven't told us anything that isn't written in the papers.

Can we all please just stop? I'd rather not see the thread about our best recruit get locked. I don't really care who is an 'insider' because there is no way to know for sure... I'm over it. ALL insiders thought we'd have Malcolm Mitchell and Brent Calloway at this point. Let's just drink a bottle of chill, share the info we can, and discuss.

Seriously guys chill out. Take everything you hear on these boards with a grain of salt. You shouldn't get wrapped around the axles about anything any poster on this site tells you. Whether it be jam's prophecies or this self-proclaimed relative of Cyrus. Just listen to what they have to say and have fun with it. If you don't agree, don't respond. Form your opinions off sources you trust. Period. You'll all be better off. RTR.

Exactly, form your opinions off of what I say. I am an 'outsider'.

Don't know anything more than anyone else on here and in fact a lot less than some but if you look at his top 4, Bama, Auburn, New Mexico and Iowa it screams fairly loud to me that he will be at Bama next year. Can't see him even thinking about playing against his brother at such a hated rival in Auburn and what that would do to his family. New Mexico is flabbergasting to me how they even made it in his final four. Iowa? They would seem to be the team I could see competing with Bama if not for the conflicting situation it would put his family in by playing most Saturdays that Bama does and so far away.

Now if his brother is thinking on transferring in the near future because he isn't happy or if he doesn't break the starting lineup in the spring then there could be something to his confusion or I should say indecisiveness. Don't think coach Saban would release him to another SEC team much less Auburn if he was so that would leave Iowa and New Mexico. But redshirting his freshman year at a place like Bama should not have been a surprise to Arie, so I doubt that.

It would make more sense to me if he was considering schools closer to home though if Bama and distance was a problem for his family. I know they are saying the right thing by saying that its his decision and it needs to be the right one for him but he seems to be a good and intelligent kid so he has got to know that his decision affects them and will take that into consideration.

It just doesn't make a lot of sense for him to go anywhere but Bama to me. Play for the best college coach in America, (with pro connections, Bellichick ect.). Play for a school with one the top traditions ever. Play for a team during one of their most successful eras and no end in sight. Compete with the best talent year in and year out. Play in the top conference in college ball. Brother is already there and knows the ropes around school and town. What am I missing? Oh and get an education at one of the most respected institutions world wide not to mention being an alumnus of a school of such a wide and well known pedigree. Opportunity is knocking Cyrus!

^^^This. You made a great point there MOAN when you said that Arie may not be enjoying his time here. If thats the case, and Arie wants to transfer at some point, then I can see the reason why Cyrus is making sure he makes the right decision.

I am not so sure what is going on here but there is no reason to belive that Arie is not happy at Bama or that Cyrus will not choose Bama on NSD.

There is no need for any poster to investigate or call out a new poster who has not done anything that warrants that sort of thing. We all have our stories and opinions, so lets be tolerant unless something seriously warrants suspicion.

NSD can't get here soon enough this year. ;)

I think the statements you made were reasonable. It's the same way Cyrus was talking about recruiting all this time. If you are close enough to the matter. Could you please name a few things that matters more in his decision making? Meanwhile, in your opinion, what pushed Arie to Bama?
BTW, Coach Pendry retired, but he's supposedly still consulting/helping.
Arie and Cyrus are very good players, IMO they will be better than Pouncey twins. I don't see anything can prevent them from playing on the OL at the same time.
By the way people, i'm not very good at spell checking my stuff... that would explain the numerous mistakes i made in my previous post. I honestly don't know at this point where cyrus will land next year. Cyrus himself does not know where he will land next year, and that's why he's still taking visits. A decision hasn't been made yet. Arie being there is just one thing T-town has that the other schools do not. but that could be both a positive and a negative thing. I will tell you one thing though, t-town has by far the best fans in the country. With that being said, Coach pendry who was arguably the best o-line coach on the country is gone, but then again, coach saban is arguably the best coach in college football and a legend. The weather in AL is not that bad either. ha ha.

Oh I agree! I think Arie should have and did expect to red shirt at Bama and the only thing that would make him unhappy is home sickness. And I think everything points to Cyrus joining him at Bama or why would none of the schools closer to home not be considered by Cyrus? They may be and he is just not visiting them but you would think you would hear something coming from those schools if he were.

I am glad a moderator chimed in. :) If this is a V-Bulletin forum, the moderators can check the IP addresses of all posters and find out exactly where in the world they are posting from. My guess is that someone with those privileges has done this on the Kouandjio friend/family member. I used to moderate a forum and had to check those things all the time as people would get banned and sign up with a new name. The IP checker helped us easily locate these people and send them on their merry way.

I follow Arie on Twitter and he has never given any indication that he wasn't happy here. He seems like a very mature guy who loves his family and is very loyal. I saw the same traits in Cyrus when he was interviewed on ESPN.

"Coach Pendry who was arguably the best o-line coach on the country is gone,"

Coach Pendry is not gone per se, he is being retained on a consulting basis. His office is just down the hall from Coach Stoutland's.

I know coach Pendry work there as a consultant, but the fact of the matter is, he's not the o line coach anymore. With that being said, this does not drastically decrease the crimson's chances.
