Our 2007 Schedule

I think it's obviously premature to be making predictions about next season, but I honestly believe that close to any and everything is a possibility. From going unbeaten to barely finishing above .500. I think we'll most likely be somewhere in between those two, but anything can happen.

Before I saw this post, I did the same thing.

I don't think we will be undefeated next year. I think there might be some "growing pains" next year, and I believe CNS referred to that in his PC.

What is refreshing though is for the 1st time in a long time I think a realistic AL fan can look at the schedule and say "I think every game on the schedule is winnable" Not that we can or will go undefeated, but there are no "automatic" losses (or at least huge upset if we did win).

No arguement there but we didn't lose at Bryant Denny.... period.

This is very true, but based on next season's schedule, we would have played Western Carolina, ULN, and MAYBE Mississippi State in T-town. All other home games would have been at Legion Feild because of the size difference. At that time, Bama made a lot more $$ playing the big games in Birmingham than at Tuscaloosa.

When you look at it one game at a time we really could go undefeted. Especially since we are not playing UF. LSU will be the hardest, but they are only good because of what Saban did. Saban will know how to beat them. I mean Shula even had a chance to win every game. We will surely be in the chase for the SEC, might even go to Atlanta. Wow might even win and play in the national title. Thats what it will take to shut up ESPN and the barn.

Let's say that we do go undefeated and go to the national championship, who will be there with us. I think we will dominate LSU. Are any of Saban's old players on there and making a difference? Does Les Miles look like Steve Martin?

Seriously I think that we will drop one and at most two games next year.

12-0 is INSANE. I'll be very happy with 9-3 but I am expecting 8-4. Playing a 3-4 is not going to be a quick and easy transition. A huge, talented DT is a must and we don't have one. We need a good O-coordinator. I imagine Bama could pay Jimbo more than FSU but he might think he'll eventually get the HC job. However, if he goes there and turns that awful offense around he will really increase his stock, but he could do the same here.

How about we start a fund to get him here? I'll put up $50.
