What is the deal here? Why is the media taking potshots at Bama (again) for Saban stating a fact about some of USF's players not being able to get into some other schools? I think that he knows what he is talking about since one of USF's running backs could not get into Alabama for 2 years, but he went right into the backfield at USF. I do not think that CNS was being overly critical or saying that anyone was cheating, he was just saying that USF is getting some pretty good players now. I guess its just another the media slanting the facts to achieve their own agenda at Bama's expense.

In the news again apparently. Outside the Lines did a story on USF this morning. Complete with.......a Bill Curry appearance.

Must have been taped before Thursdays loss to Rutgers. A month old story made less relevant. I loved Curry's closing comment on how they deserved to be a top five team.

I find it entertaining to watch ESPN's pointy-headed geeks discussing football, or any sport. John Saunders is from Canada and picked Michigan to be the champions this year.

The bottom line is that none of them know what they are talking about.

Jamar Taylor is already listed as #3 on the depth chart.....behind Ford.

They can match many big time teams in the offensive weapons department but their defense is a little average.

If their helping to dilute the Florida football powers, I say keep up the good work. It would be a sad day for both Florida and especially Miami if they ever join a bigger conference....like the SEC.

To be fair, a year passed between the 2nd time Ford failed to qualify to attend Bama (spring 2005 after high school and again in spring 2006 after a year at Hargrave) and when he signed to attend USF (spring 2007). It's possible he did the work necessary to qualify during that period.
